This high end guitar cable is one of the most successful products from Sommer Cable of the past years and enjoys cult status with guitarists and bassists alike. Due to it's excellent price-performance ratio, German and international trade press elected the SC-SPIRIT XXL test champion several times in a row.
The cable is robust and yet flexible, while its smoke-coloured jacket gives it a high recall value. The shielding is ideal: The braiding is 95 % opaque and provides optical protection of 100 %, for even more safety.
A special lacquering makes the complex foamed polyethylene insulation very endurable and helps protect the excellent transmission properties for years to come.
The wire diameter of 0.75 mm² limits the loss typical for long distance guitar cables. There is hardly a guitar cable at a length of 10 m that sounds as good as the SC-SPIRIT XXL. The sound of the SC-SPIRIT XXL is crystal-clear, clean and very neutral. It reproduces the impulsiveness of bass attacks brilliantly.
Caution when Soldering: The black carbon shield between the braided shielding and the insulation is highly conductive. It must be removed before soldering to avoid short circuiting!
