Rycote Portable Recorder Suspension - 041119

Rycote's Portable Recorder Suspension is the perfect shockmount for your recorder and is ideal for use by journalists, podcasters and location film sound recordists. This Lyre designed shockmount provides excellent protection from unwanted vibration noises and can be boom, stand, DSLR or Video camera mounted.

The base of the suspension features an integrated swivelling connector which allows the connection of microphone stands and boom poles with a 3/8 inch male screw thread to the 1/4 inch female thread found on the underside of many portable audio recorders.

Once connected in this way, the suspension, and thus the recorder, may be swivelled through 180 degrees for optimum positioning when boom-mounted.

If required the included brass Hot Shoe connector may also be added to the bottom of the swivelling connector to allow your digital recorder to be mounted on top of DSLR cameras.

A built-in cable clamp is also incorporated, which greatly minimises any cable-borne noise.
