SPL RackPack 4 Highlights

The new RackPack 4 is a compact and portable module frame that can fit up to four SPL RackPack modules and supply them with power. The sturdy rubber feet and handle make it easy to move around, while the especially manufactured fitting system allow it to sit comfortably in a 19-inch rack.

The following modules are currently available:

• Preference Mic Pre – reliable, transparent microphone preamplifier
• Premium Mic Pre – hi-end microphone preamplifier
• Transient Designer – the original Transient Designer as RackPack module
• Full Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the whole frequency spectrum
• Bass Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the bass range
• Vox Ranger – graphic EQ with passive coil filters for the vocal range
• TwinTube – combined saturation and presence tube effects
• DynaMaxx – SPL's set & forget compressor, updated for the RackPack

Internally SPL have purposely dispensed with a bus system for connections to and between modules. Instead each module provides balanced XLR in- and outputs, so free routing between modules is ensured.

Furthermore each module can also be integrated into any studio-or live environment just like a stand-alone device. And since two outputs are available simultaneously on each module, you can route from any module additionally while it is connected already to another module (or elsewhere). If you have a RackPack built as a channel strip, you can still pick up a signal from any module stage and send elsewhere.
