Description

This Kit brings together the DLH200D lighthead with the DLH200S Softlight. Many lighting situations demand both focusing and soft light sources at the same time and here you have the perfect kit for these situations witht the flexibiity to also switch from Daylight to Tungsten very quickly.

The DLH200D Light Head

The latest generation 200D employs Dedo's patented double Aspherics2 optical system in combination with a zoom focus system with a clearly defined "clean beam", no stray light. It is capable of both daylight and tungsten operation and offers two methods of converting from daylight to tungsten:

• Drop in a dichroic tungsten conversion filter …quick, but loss in intensity.
• Install a tungsten balanced ceramic lamp and easily convert from daylight to tungsten with no loss in light output.
  

The special tungsten ceramic lamp developed for the Dedolight system is driven by the same ballast as the daylight lamp. They provide four times the light output of a regular tungsten lamp of the same wattage, have a high color rendition index, and use the same working voltage and flicker free frequency as our daylight lamps.

All projection attachments and accessories in the Dedolight 100/150 classic series are compatible with the DLH200D.

The DLH200S Light Head

This single function light head is exclusively for use with four different types of soft boxes. Included with this kit is the Dedoflex DSBSS Silver Dome Small Soft Box. Since the actual light source is placed in the focal center of the soft box, the light output is approximately two times the light output in comparison to a soft box mounted on the front of a Fresnel light.

A hot spot is normally encountered when using a soft box on a Fresnel light. The light distribution of the DLH200S with all the recommended soft boxes is perfectly even and homogenous.

The DEB200D Flicker Free Ballast

Utilizing the latest technology, the DEB200D electronic flicker free ballasts are designed to power the Dedolight DLH200D
and DLH200S daylight/tungsten light heads. Light weight yet rugged, small yet powerful with every conceivable feature you would want. Four different versions are available to order which allow powering the light from mains or from battery. Mains operated is included with this kit.

• Dimmable from 200 W to 100 W
• Over-voltage, overload, overheat and short circuit protection.
• Rainproof according to IP 23 when in horizontal position.
